SoVita Chiropractic Center

SoVita (So-V-tah):
SoVita (So-V-tah): Derived from the Greek word Sophos meaning Wisdom, and the Latin word Vita meaning Life. At SoVita Chiropractic Centers, we believe chiropractic care combined with imparting wisdom to our patients will enable them to live and express life at their full potential.

My time at Capitol Chiropractic has been a life changing and eye opening experience. I owe my life and progress to them and wouldn't trade my relationship with my Chiropractor for all the pills in the world.

I generally keep myself in good health, but I have noticed a difference in my health since I began Chiropractic care. My energy, strength, rest and my mood have all improved. Chiropractic care is my secret weapon to my overall health and wellness.

I have been tremendously helped in my body and mind. Everyone here has been so helpful and pleasant. I look forward to my adjustments. Both Dr. B and Dr. Jerry are a God-send to our family and church family. We all love you!

When I came here I was a mess. I couldn't turn my head more than a few degrees, headaches, neck pain, back pain, trouble focusing, no energy. After the first adjustment I began to feel better (less pain and better range of motion). Now I feel I have the best range of motion I've had in 15 years. The headaches are few and far between and the neck and back pain are now infrequent instead of chronic.

I was suffering from excruciating pain in my lower back and hip, when I was introduced to Capitol Chiropractic Center by a fellow co-worker of mine in November 2010. On my first visit to the center, I was greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff led by Dr. Karlos Boghosian, who explained the entire chiropractic process before the examination. There wasn't any obvious sign of injury to explain the pain, so an x-ray was done to determine whether it was spine related. The following day I returned for my result, which wasn't a pretty one: a badly misaligned spinal column and worn disks, particularly in the region of the neck, were the major contributing factors to my nightmares. By this time, walking, sitting, and standing for a relatively short period, became the impossibility. With the help of staff members, I was able to stand and walk to get my adjustment from Dr. Schmitt, who has been very instrumental in the recovery process.

Dr. Schmitt called me after 7:00 P.M. the same day to find out how I was doing after my first adjustment. I told him the first adjustment (that lasted around 15 minutes) was like a miracle, since this was the first time in more than two weeks that I was able to sit or stand on my own. He was very pleased to know that I was already seeing signs of improvement. That same evening, I actually sat during a lecture for one hour with little pain. After the second month of adjustments, I was back to routine task, although the pain was still present, it wasn't unbearable. At times leading up to the second month, I would experience ups and downs in pain and became concerned, but it was quickly edified by Dr. Shmitt of the different expectations associated with the recovery process. My breathing has improved significantly, and not to mention my sleeping that the back pain had interfered with.

Now, after receiving five months of adjustments, and being able to return to the things I love to do, my confidence has grown conciderably in the chiropractic service. I am getting the sleep I need, and am feeling much better physically and mentally. I would encourage those who are experiencing similar discomforts to seek the help of a chiropractor, because they can get you back in good health without the use of medication or surgery.
